new 2025 membership info

 

Q. Do I have to change over to a 3, 6 or 12 month membership?

A. No definitely not, but you will receive more benefits from a 3, 6 or 12 month membership. SYS clients who make the change will receive complimentary off peak open gym access to the SYS studio exclusively, so there's no longer a need for you to have an additional gym membership on top of your PT, it's all wrapped into one.  

 

We will also no longer be available to the public, that's the perks of your SYS membership, exclusivity with no additional cost.  You will also receive complimentary programming included in your open access written by your SYS coach for additional training days and the choice and the choice of either 1, 5 or 7 weeks of suspension.

If you stay on your SYS Pack and don't make the change you'll be given 4 weeks of suspension each year to activate as you wish.

Q. When does the new policy kick in? 

​

A. Our new membership options kick off in April 2025 so plenty of time for you to talk to your SYS coach and get your head around which option is best for you.

Q. When does my ‘suspension’ allowance begin?

​

A. As soon as you sign up!  You're welcome to apply for suspension with two (2) weeks notice through our GymMaster system at any time.  Suspension will clock over again January 2026.

Q. How often do direct debits occur?

​

A. Weekly via our GymMaster system and payments are processed via PayChoice. 

​

Q. How much notice do i have to give to take my some/all of my ‘suspension'? 

​

A. Two (2) week notice is required to activate your suspension.  

​

Q. Who do I tell/how to give notice of wanting to take ‘annual leave’?

​

A.  You simply apply for suspension via your GymMaster app.  Upon sign up you will be sent two emails, one with your T&Cs/Contract, the second with instructions on how to download your GymMaster App.  In your app you'll be able to access receipts, update your billing and card details and apply for time off, super easy!  Your SYS admin rep will get in touch with you once you've applied and confirm your suspension.  You may request to take it all at once or break it up however you like.  Minimum time to apply for is one (1) week.

Q. If I stay on a SYS pack and want more annual leave what happens? 

​

A. Awesome, you've two options :-
 

    1.  If you need more than 4 weeks of per year and want to hold your session day and time with your coach you will be asked to pay a flat fee of $60 per week for every additional week you're away 
 

     2. If you don't want to pay for additional time off that's totally fine too, in this case you will give up your spot to a new client or a client on our waitlist and we will allocate you a similar spot on return

Q. If my spot in no longer available to me, can I get a new time/day that is similar?

​

A. Definitely! When you get back we will map out for you all the availability we have across the studio and do our best to match you with a similar service, coach, day and training time

Q. Why is policy/membership options in place?

​

A. Great question! There are so many reasons we've decided to offer memberships.  

​

      1. We want to see our clients have the ability to move and train more but we understand PT can be pricey, so we've packaged together the best of both worlds, PT & Open gym so you're moving more and reaching your health goals but without the hefty price tag.  

​

       2.  We spoke at length with our client base and what we found is most people want smaller debits more frequently, so no more pesky chunks that come out of your bank account at random intervals, getting in the way of dinner plans out or stopping you in your tracks mid online shopping binge.  

​

      3.  It's time we levelled up our billing and communication via a client portal.  This way you can access your payments and receipts at your fingertips, update your card details easily and see where your money is going.  Our pack system is designed for a much smaller scale business, and now with almost 150 clients we're in much need of a streamlined system that delivers clarity and ease to you guys, our clients.

Q. Can I ‘buy’ more ‘suspension’ to hold my training spot?

​

A. Definitely!  If you've found you've used up all your suspension, no sweat.  Just get in touch with admin via info@southyarrastrength.com.au and request more annual leave.  Additional annual leave will be charged at $60 per week for each additional week you're away and will be processed via a Stripe payment link to confirm your time off and hold your training spot.

Q. What’s the SYS Pack Cancellation Policy? 

​

A. If you stay on our pack model you will have two policies to keep in mind.  

​

    1.  48-24 hours notice of cancelling an appointment will result in a $50 flat fee charged to your card on file 

    2.  24 hours and under will be counted as a Late Cancellation and will be the full cost of your service, 1 x session will be taken from your SYS Pack

    ** If you reschedule your session and complete it within the same week or the coming week with any coach regardless of the cancellation time, you wont' be charged at all horrah!

Q. What if I'm on a 6 or 12 mth membership & randomly can't make training?  

​

A. You always have the option to reschedule your appointment either with your own coach or any of the SYS coaches.  With 8 incredible coaches at your disposal you've the full flexibility to find a time that suits you so you don't miss out on your training.  Alternatively if you're wiped out for a whole week sick you can add make up sessions to the coming weeks in either your coaches or any of the SYS coaches diaries.

Q. Can I change from a 3 or 6 month to a 12 month membership anytime throughout the year?

​

A. You sure can, anytime just holla at us at info@southyarrastrength.com.au and request an extension of your membership we'll sort the rest!
